Road to Return: The role of public-private partnerships in navigating a safe route back to business

AfricaCom have kindly agreed to repurpose my session, and move it to Monday Nov 9 at 3pm. This new session will explore strategies for economic re-opening from the angle of real innovations and concrete interventions, involving public and private sector cooperation. We will hear from Gaurang Tanna (Dept of Health) and Ronald Whelan (COO Discovery Health) about their partnership in delivering CovidConnect and CovidAlert. We will also hear from Paul Meyer and Jean-Philbert Nsengimana about CommonPass, an initiative aiming to facilitate safe cross-border travel with a Covid Passport service.
