National Planning Commission

The National Planning Commission is located in the Office of the Presidency, Government of South Africa.
It is responsible for developing a long term vision and strategic plan for South Africa. The Commission also advises on strategic issues that impact on South Africa’s long term development.

I served in the first Planning Commission from 2010-2015 and was reappointed in Sept 2015 for a second 5 year term.

The new Commission is actively exploring how to strengthen delivery. I will write more on this soon.
